A WOMAN DIED, MAN MISSING IN WASHINGTON AVALANCHES

A woman hiker has died and another hiker is missing after a pair of avalanches occurred in the Cascade Mountains in Washington state this weekend, authorities said.

The woman's name has not been released. She was found not moving and somewhat conscious after fellow hikers nearby dug her out of five feet of snow. Rescuers "hiked her out through blizzard like conditions," Kings County Sheriff officials said in a news release. Medics later confirmed she had died.

The first avalanche took place around noon at Granite Mountain, knocking three men who were on snowshoes to the ground. Two emerged injured from the snow, however the third, a 60-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, did not.

Due to poor weather conditions, the search was indefinitely suspended today for the missing hiker.

Victoria Justice is seeking some Internet justice. The actress claims she was the victim of hacking after a handful of quasi racy photos hit the Internet, Tweeting on Friday:

The pictures mostly just depict Justice in a bathing suit, but she directed her wrath in another Tweet at the website that published them:

"@oceanup I would never post a picture of myself like that. I'm not taking this lightly & I will find out who stole my private property."

Of course, Justice does have an album coming out this year, and she did thank fans for making her a "trending topic," so is it possible this Victoria went Farrah Abraham here? Minus the sex tape but plus the attention-seeking?

It can't be ruled out.

Kevin Hart was arrested for DUI this morning following erratic driving that nearly caused a serious accident.

Sources tell TMZ that the comedian nearly crashed into a gas tanker around 4:30 a.m. PST when the California Highway Patrol spotted him driving even worse than Justin Bieber on the 101 in Los Angeles.

Authorities allege Hart was going 90 miles per hour and "almost collided with a gas tanker truck" immediately before being pulled over.

Hart, who hosted Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago, showed "objective signs of intoxication" and was "unable to perform field sobriety tests" at the side of the road, according to law enforcement officials. He was taken to a local jail for misdemeanor DUI and held there on a $5,000 bond.

People in Venezuela are voting in a presidential election, called after the death of Hugo Chavez.

Acting President Nicolas Maduro, chosen by Mr Chavez as his successor, is running against Henrique Capriles, currently governor of Miranda state.

Mr Capriles narrowly lost to Mr Chavez in elections last October.

On the eve of polls opening, he accused Mr Maduro of breaking election laws by continuing its campaign on state television.

Mr Maduro, aged 50, whose campaign has focused on his close relationship to Mr Chavez, was shown visiting the tomb of the late leader, a move Mr Capriles, 40, said was "violating all the electoral norms".

The BBC's Will Grant in Caracas says both candidates have to some extent broken the media silence they are supposed to have maintained since campaigning officially ended on Thursday.
