Kevin Hart was arrested for DUI this morning following erratic driving that nearly caused a serious accident.

Sources tell TMZ that the comedian nearly crashed into a gas tanker around 4:30 a.m. PST when the California Highway Patrol spotted him driving even worse than Justin Bieber on the 101 in Los Angeles.

Authorities allege Hart was going 90 miles per hour and "almost collided with a gas tanker truck" immediately before being pulled over.

Hart, who hosted Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago, showed "objective signs of intoxication" and was "unable to perform field sobriety tests" at the side of the road, according to law enforcement officials. He was taken to a local jail for misdemeanor DUI and held there on a $5,000 bond.
